ATC March 2021 Charter Program
ATC enters March with a regular cargo flights schedule after a short break for the Chinese New Year celebration. The General Director of ATC China Alexey Maltsev tells about the charter program:
We have drawn up a March flights schedule based on existing demand for capacities. We have scheduled daily flights from Hong Kong to Moscow – five times a week to Sheremetyevo and two times a week to Vnukovo. Flights to Sheremetyevo will land on the way in Vietnamese Ho Chi Minh on Mondays and Fridays and in Bangkok on Tuesdays and Saturdays. There they will pick up local cargoes and follow to Moscow. Thus, we cover key locations in South-East Asia and offer direct service from these airports. It is our unique product that has been in constant demand since the very beginning of the program.
What destinations do you develop apart from Moscow?
We performed several Hong Kong-Riga flights in February, before the holidays. It is a traditional destination for cross-border e-commerce shipments. Riga is a regional hub for parcels delivery to the Baltics, Belarus and Ukraine. In March, we plan to make three flights a week to Riga — on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The first week of March shows that these capacities are in demand. Thus, we perform 10 flights per week from Hong Kong. There are 43 flights from Hong Kong scheduled in March. Most flights are operated by Royal Flight and Rossiya Airlines В777-300 passenger wide-body aircrafts. They can carry up to 40 tons onboard. In addition, we use Aviastar-TU B757 cargo aircrafts.
What solutions do you offer from mainland China?
In March, we offer our customers capacities on a cargo flight from Zhengzhou to Sheremetyevo. Aviastar-TU flight is performed on Sundays. Our offer is advantageous as an all-freight aircraft can carry cargoes up to 2 meters height. No one else carries cargoes of this size apart from us and AirBridgeCargo airline. We also continue to cooperate with AirBridgeCargo as their largest agent on routes from China to Russia.
