ATC Launches a New Flight from Beijing to Sheremetyevo

АТС China increases capacities on China-Russia direction. Commentary by the Director of Operations Pavel Avramenko:

At the end of May, the market of air freight from China to Russia saw another 180 degree turn, when the Chinese aviation authorities banned the flights to China for Russian aircraft with double registration. According to our estimates, such aircraft provided up to 60% of carrying capacities. In this context the market was severely depleted in June and July. In order not to leave our customers without the ability to deliver goods quickly, we launched the transit route Shanghai-Tashkent-Moscow and Hong Kong-Tashkent-Moscow, 3 weekly cargo flights in total. In addition, we perform a direct weekly cargo flight Zhengzhou-Novosibirsk. Now we launch a new direct weekly flight Beijing-Sheremetyevo on Wednesdays, which will be performed by China Eastern airline. The flight is suitable for carrying not only general cargo, but also for electronics with batteries and non-hazardous chemicals. The flights schedule is approved until the end of October, up to the transition to the winter schedule.
