ATC Introduces a New Product — Delivery of Samples From China

ATC has launched a new logistics product ATC Express. Now you can order from us the transportation of samples, small non-commercial cargoes and documents from China to Russia. We asked Pavel Avramenko, ATC China Director of Operations, about the new service.

Please tell us more about what ATC Express is.

ATC Express is a service for the delivery of small non-commercial goods and documents from the sender’s door in China to the receiver’s door in Russia. We consolidate such small consignments at our warehouse in China, mark, pack, export and transport them to Moscow and then hand them over to our partner, the federal level express operator, for further delivery to recipients in any city in Russia.

Who is your target audience?

Our product will primarily be of interest to Russian importers and foreign trade participants who purchase various goods in China. These companies regularly need to deliver product samples — for certification, marketing or other purposes. Some other companies need to import parts for warranty repair of equipment. Such items are for non-commercial purposes and we process them at Russian customs as express shipments. This also includes documents and other correspondence. ATC Express is a service exclusively for legal entities, we do not deliver packages for individuals as part of this product.

Why customers will choose your service?

ATC Express did not appear out of nothing. Now there ia a vacant niche in the express transport market which was previously occupied by large international express operators. They left the Russian market, we saw the potential here and developed this service. We ensure a fast delivery, for example, for Moscow and Moscow region the delivery time from door to door is at least 10 days and for large cities — at least 12 days. In addition, unlike regular mail or EMS, we provide proper customs clearance, which is especially important if samples are imported for certification.
